You have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you.

Our Practices:

  • We do NOT use fully automated decision-making for contributor accounts
  • Project matching may use automated recommendations, but humans make final decisions
  • Quality assessments include human review
  • Payment decisions are human-reviewed

If Automated Decisions Are Made:

  • We will inform you
  • You can request human intervention
  • You can express your point of view and contest the decision

14. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

14.1 Age Restrictions for Platform Use

Minimum Age Requirement:

The Yugo Platform is intended for individuals aged 18 years or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).

If You Are Under 18:

  • You may NOT create a Yugo Platform account
  • You may NOT submit User Content directly
  • You may NOT participate in Projects independently

Exception for Minor Data Collection Projects:

Some Projects may involve collecting data FROM minors (e.g., children's speech for educational AI applications). In these cases:

  • The Platform account and consent MUST be managed by a parent or legal guardian
  • The minor cannot create their own account
  • All consent must be provided by the parent/guardian

14.2 Data Collection FROM Minors (Parental Involvement)

When a Project Involves Minor Subjects:

If a Project requires collecting data from individuals under 18 (e.g., children's voices, images of minors):

Parental Responsibility:

  • The parent or legal guardian creates and manages the Yugo Platform account
  • The parent/guardian provides all consents on behalf of the minor
  • The parent/guardian supervises all data collection activities
  • The parent/guardian controls the minor's participation and can withdraw consent at any time

Explicit Parental Consent:

We require:

  • Verification of parental/guardian relationship
  • Explicit consent for the minor's data collection
  • Acknowledgment that the parent/guardian understands how the minor's data will be used
  • Separate consent for each Project involving the minor

Consent Methods:

  • Written consent: Signed parental consent forms
  • Video consent: Video recording of parent/guardian providing consent and confirming their relationship to the minor
  • Identity verification: We may require ID verification of the parent/guardian

Minor's Rights:

  • Parents/guardians can exercise all data rights on behalf of the minor (access, deletion, etc.)
  • Parents/guardians can request deletion of the minor's data at any time
  • Minors' data is subject to heightened protection measures

What We Collect FROM Minors:

Only as explicitly consented by parent/guardian:

  • Voice recordings (for children's speech datasets)
  • Images or videos (for age-diverse facial recognition datasets)
  • Text submissions (for educational content)
  • Demographic information (age range, gender - only as necessary)

What We Do NOT Collect FROM Minors:

  • Direct account access or login credentials for minors
  • Precise location data
  • Health information (unless specifically required and consented)
  • Sensitive personal data beyond what is essential for the Project

Special Protections for Minor Data:

  • Enhanced security measures
  • Stricter access controls
  • Clear purpose limitation and retention limits
  • Pseudonymization applied wherever possible
  • No use of minor data for secondary purposes without new consent

14.3 If We Discover Underage Account Holders

If we become aware that an individual under 18 has created an account without parental involvement:

  • We will immediately suspend the account
  • We will request parental/guardian verification and consent
  • If consent cannot be obtained, we will delete the account and all associated data within 30 days
  • We will not knowingly use or license any data submitted by underage users without parental consent

14.4 Parental Rights and Controls

Parents and Guardians Can:

  • Request access to all data collected from their child
  • Request correction of inaccurate data about their child
  • Request deletion of their child's data at any time
  • Withdraw consent for their child's participation
  • Object to further collection or processing of their child's data

How to Exercise Parental Rights:

Email: hello@futurebeeai.comwith subject line: "Parental Rights Request"

Provide:

  • Proof of parental relationship
  • Specific request
  • Child's information (as used in Projects)

We will respond within 15 days (expedited timeline for children's data).

16. DATA BREACH NOTIFICATION

16.1 Our Commitment

We take data security seriously and have comprehensive measures to prevent breaches. However, if a breach occurs, we are committed to transparent and timely notification.

16.2 What Constitutes a Data Breach

A personal data breach means a breach of security leading to:

  • Accidental or unlawful destruction of personal data
  • Loss of personal data
  • Unauthorized alteration of personal data
  • Unauthorized disclosure of personal data
  • Unauthorized access to personal data

Examples:

  • Hacking or cyberattack resulting in data access
  • Ransomware encrypting contributor data
  • Accidental sharing of data with wrong recipients
  • Lost or stolen devices containing personal data
  • Insider threat or malicious employee actions

16.3 Breach Response Process

  1. Containment: Isolate affected systems to prevent further breach
  2. Assessment: Determine scope, nature, and severity of breach
  3. Evidence preservation: Secure logs and forensic evidence
  4. Incident response team activation: Mobilize security, legal, and technical teams

Investigation (24-72 Hours):

  1. Root cause analysis: Identify how breach occurred
  2. Impact assessment: Determine what data was affected and which individuals
  3. Risk evaluation: Assess potential harm to affected individuals
  4. Remediation: Implement fixes to prevent recurrence

16.4 Notification to Authorities

GDPR Requirements (EEA/UK):

If the breach is likely to result in a risk to individuals' rights and freedoms:

  • We will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware
  • Notification includes: nature of breach, categories and numbers affected, likely consequences, measures taken
  • If notification is delayed beyond 72 hours, we will provide reasons for the delay

Other Jurisdictions:

We comply with local breach notification laws, including:

  • US States: Notification per state-specific timelines (e.g., California: without unreasonable delay)
  • India: Notification to relevant authority as required by DPDP Act
  • Other countries: Per applicable local laws

16.5 Notification to Affected Individuals

When We Notify You:

We will notify affected contributors without undue delay if the breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms.

How We Notify:

  • Primary method: Email to your registered email address
  • Backup method: In-Platform notification when you log in

Timeline:

  • Without undue delay after confirming high risk
  • Typically within 72 hours of risk assessment completion
  • May be delayed only if law enforcement requests (for investigation purposes)

16.6 When We May NOT Notify

We may not notify you if:

  • No high risk: The breach is unlikely to result in high risk to your rights (e.g., encrypted data where key was not compromised)
  • Protective measures: We implemented measures that render the data unintelligible (e.g., strong encryption)
  • Disproportionate effort: Cannot identify or contact affected individuals (we will use public notice instead)
  • Legal prohibition: Law enforcement requests delay for investigation (temporary)

Even if we don't notify individually, we will notify the supervisory authority and may issue a public statement.

16.7 Your Actions After a Breach

If we notify you of a breach, you should:

Immediate Actions:

  1. Change your password: Update your Yugo Platform password immediately
  2. Monitor your accounts: Watch for suspicious activity on any accounts using the same password
  3. Enable MFA: If not already enabled, activate multi-factor authentication if applicable
  4. Be alert for phishing: Be cautious of emails or calls claiming to be about the breach

For Financial Data Breaches:

  1. Monitor bank accounts: Check for unauthorized transactions
  2. Contact your bank: Inform them of potential compromise

16.9 Breach History Transparency

We are committed to transparency. Upon request, we will provide information about:

  • Past breaches affecting your data (if any)

To request this information: hello@futurebeeai.com

17. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

17.1 Third-Party Links

The Yugo Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources (e.g., payment processors, identity verification services, help documentation).

Important:

  • This Privacy Policy does NOT apply to third-party websites or services
  • We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties
  • We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access
  • Clicking third-party links is at your own risk

We Link To:

  • Payment processors (PayPal, Payoneer) for payment facilitation
  • Cloud storage providers (AWS) for infrastructure
  • Help and support resources
  • Social media (if you choose to share or connect accounts)

We Do NOT:

  • Control third-party privacy practices
  • Endorse third-party data handling
  • Have access to data you provide directly to third parties (except as necessary for service delivery)

17.2 Third-Party Service Providers

We engage sub-processors (see Section 9.2) who process data on our behalf. These are NOT "third parties" in the traditional sense because:

  • They are contractually bound to protect your data
  • They process data only on our instructions
  • They are subject to Data Processing Agreements
  • We remain responsible for their data handling

17.3 Third-Party Analytics

We use third-party analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand Platform usage.

What They Collect:

  • Anonymized usage patterns
  • Page views and session duration
  • Device and browser information
  • Geographic region (country/city level, not precise location)

Your Control:

  • Opt out of analytics cookies in Account Settings
  • Use browser extensions like Google Analytics Opt-out (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout)

Data Sharing:

  • Analytics providers do NOT have access to your personally identifiable information
  • Analytics data is not used for advertising or marketing outside the Platform

17.4 Third-Party Payment Processors

We use third-party payment processors (PayPal, Payoneer, banking partners) to facilitate contributor compensation.

What We Share:

  • Your payment account information (provided by you)
  • Payment amount and transaction details
  • Identity verification information (as required for AML/KYC)

What They Collect:

  • Payment processors may collect additional information directly from you per their privacy policies
  • Review their policies

18. ACCOUNT SECURITY AND UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS

18.1 Your Account Security Responsibilities

Your Yugo Platform account is personal, non-transferable, and your responsibility to secure.

You Are Responsible For:

  • Choosing a strong, unique password
  • Keeping your password confidential
  • Not sharing your login credentials with anyone
  • Logging out after using shared or public devices
  • Keeping your email account secure (used for password resets)
  • Notifying us immediately of suspected unauthorized access

18.2 Prohibition on Account Sharing

Strict Prohibition:

You are explicitly prohibited from:

  • Sharing your account credentials with any other person
  • Allowing others to use your account
  • Creating accounts on behalf of others (except parents for minors, as described in Section 14)
  • Using someone else's account credentials

Why This Matters:

  • Consent integrity: We cannot verify that the actual person consented to data collection
  • Data quality: We cannot confirm the authenticity of submitted data
  • Payment fraud: Compensation may go to the wrong person
  • Security risks: Shared accounts are vulnerable to breaches
  • Legal liability: Consent and contract validity are compromised

18.3 Consequences of Account Sharing

If we detect or have reason to believe your account credentials have been shared or used by unauthorized individuals:

Immediate Actions:

  1. Account suspension: Immediate temporary suspension pending investigation
  2. Data quarantine: All data submitted through shared access will be flagged and excluded from datasets
  3. Payment hold: Compensation for work performed through shared access may be withheld
  4. Investigation: We will investigate the extent of unauthorized access

Potential Outcomes:

  • Warning: First-time minor violations may result in a warning (with mandatory password reset)
  • Data exclusion: Affected data will be permanently excluded from datasets (not eligible for compensation)
  • Account termination: Permanent account deletion for serious or repeated violations
  • Legal action: We reserve the right to pursue legal action for fraud or breach of contract

Your Liability:

You are responsible for:

  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Any damages or losses resulting from unauthorized account use
  • Compensating FutureBeeAI for costs incurred due to account sharing (e.g., dataset remediation)

18.4 Detecting Unauthorized Access

We use various methods to detect potential account sharing or unauthorized access:

Technical Indicators:

  • Multiple simultaneous logins from different locations
  • Unusual login patterns (e.g., logins from different countries within short timeframes)
  • Device fingerprint changes
  • IP address analysis
  • Biometric inconsistencies (e.g., voice pattern changes in voice projects)

Quality Indicators:

  • Sudden changes in data quality or submission patterns
  • Inconsistent demographic information across submissions
  • Anomalies in task completion times or behaviors

We Do NOT:

  • Continuously monitor your device or location beyond security purposes
  • Use invasive surveillance techniques
  • Share detection methods that could be circumvented

18.5 If Your Account is Compromised

If You Suspect Unauthorized Access:

Immediately:

  1. Change your password: Reset your password immediately
  2. Contact us: Email hello@futurebeeai.com with subject line: "Compromised Account - [Your Username]"
  3. Provide details:
  • When you noticed the suspicious activity
  • What unusual activity you observed
  • Whether you shared credentials with anyone (honest disclosure helps us investigate)

We Will:

  • Investigate immediately
  • Temporarily suspend the account to prevent further unauthorized access
  • Review activity logs to determine extent of compromise
  • Reset authentication credentials
  • Notify you of investigation results
  • Restore your account if the breach was not your fault

If You Accidentally Shared Credentials:

Be honest and contact us immediately. We may be more lenient if you proactively disclose:

  • Early disclosure allows us to mitigate damage
  • We can work with you to secure your account
  • Consequences may be reduced for good-faith disclosure (vs. being caught)

18.6 Two-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Availability:

We offer multi-factor authentication to enhance account security.

How to Enable:

  • Log in to Yugo Platform
  • Go to "Account Settings" > "Security" > "Two-Factor Authentication"
  • Choose method: SMS, authenticator app, or email
  • Follow setup instructions

Recommendation:

We strongly recommend enabling MFA, especially if:

  • You participate in high-value Projects
  • You have significant earnings in your account
  • You use the Platform frequently

MFA Does NOT:

  • MFA does not authorize account sharing (still prohibited)
  • MFA protects against hackers, not against voluntary credential sharing

18.7 Password Requirements and Best Practices

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 8 characters
  • Mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
  • At least one number
  • At least one special character (!@#$%^&*)

Best Practices:

  • Use a unique password (not used for other services)
  • Use a password manager to generate and store complex passwords
  • Change your password every 6-12 months
  • Do NOT use easily guessable information (birthdate, name, "password123")

18.8 Session Management

Manual Logout:

  • Always log out when using shared or public devices

18.9 Account Recovery

If You Forget Your Password:

  • Use "Forgot Password" link on login page
  • Enter your registered email address
  • Follow instructions in password reset email
  • Reset link expires after 24 hours for security

If You Lose Access to Email:

  • Contact hello@futurebeeai.com
  • We will verify your identity through additional means
  • Recovery process may take 3-5 business days for security verification

For minor updates (e.g., clarifications, corrections, formatting):

  • Updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
  • Changes take effect immediately upon posting
  • You are responsible for regularly reviewing this policy

19.3 Your Acceptance of Changes

Continued Use:

By continuing to use the Yugo Platform after changes take effect, you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

If You Disagree:

If you do not agree with the updated Privacy Policy:

  • You must stop using the Platform
  • You may request account deletion before changes take effect
  • Existing data may still be subject to previous consent and contracts

For Material Changes:

For significant changes, we may:
